JUBA – The Special Court hearing the case against eight SPLM/A-IO officials including Puot Kang Chol and Dr. Riek Machar, has adjourned the 20th session to Friday, 14th November, due to electricity outage.
Today’s session was for the three-judge panel to question the lead investigator Maj. Gen. Basilio Thomas Wani about the investigation process and the case.
The defense team was also expected to submit a response to the prosecution’s recent application for witness protection and the appointment of court interpreter.
Presiding judge Dr. James Alala Deng announced that the session had been adjourned to Friday, November 14, due to the lack of electricity power.
“I think because of lack of electricity power, the session has been adjourned to next tomorrow, 14th November,” Deng pronounced.
