Witness in SPLM/A-IO trial reveals exchange of intelligence between 2nd accused and associates

JUBA – The prosecution’s digital forensic expert witness provided more information on his analysis of data from communication devices of accused persons, as he continued his testimony today on Monday.

Ratlhogo Peter Calvin Rafhadi, read out part of a more than 40-page report on data obtained from three mobile phones belonging to the second accused person, Mam Pal Dhuor.

The report, which was displayed to the public on a screen, shows WhatsApp and text messages exchanged between Mam and others, about the events occurring weeks before the Nasir violence.

Pictures showing receipts for cash transfers and ammunition exchanged between Mam and the unfamiliar associates were also displayed.

The Presiding Judge Dr. James Alala Deng then adjourned the 46th session to Wednesday, 4th February 2026, where the witness will continue his testimony.
