JUBA – Celebrities and music fans showered Lady Kola with adorable wishes as the singer claims she has turned 50 by August 16, 2025. But could she possibly be 50, or this is one of her publicity stunts.
Kola, one of South Sudan’s most celebrated musicians, posted her birthday photos on Saturday dressed in pink skirt while holding the number 5 and 0 to indicate she is 50 years old.
“Am overwhelmed because its my special day, its not so easy to be 50 years and still beautiful, sexy and making back to back hits. Happy 50th birthday to me,” she captioned.
Despite her social media controversies, Kola is an award winning female singer with a huge following on social media. She also call herself a model, DJ, and peace campaigner.
She has been nominated for 10 awards. She has also been recognized with several prizes including Best Female Artist of the Year 2019/2020 and SSTYA awards Fans Favorite Artist of the Year 2018/2019/South Sudan Music Awards
Fellow musicians including former boyfriend DJ Cent took to social media to make her a wish, while poking fans at the age bombshell.
“Happy birthday to Lady Kola my boo. You’re 50 years old today but for me you’re still a 20 years old pretty girl. Go to your favorite place and enjoy your special day today on my bill,” Cent said.
Talented singer Lul Simon said: “Happy birthday nyan mamadie @Lady Kola. May you increase everywhere this year and most importantly may the wallet be fatter than fat.”
“Happy birthday daughter Lady Kola . Pleasure to celebrate your 50th birthday😂 infact my daughter has hit menopause today. Don’t let Christina sees this, that boy is addicted to older women,” said singer MT7.
But is Lady Kola 50?
The fact of the matter is; Lady Kola is not 50 as she claims. According to her online biography, the singer, whose real name is Akoul Ajom was born on August 16, 1996, in Eritrea.
While the actual age of Lady Kola remains unclear, her biography indicates that she is 29 years of age.
